Your child will benefit from my years of classroom teaching experience and 15 years teaching one on one in a large public school district’s independent study program, grades.

My unique experience teaching English, including grade-level writing and effective reading skills as well as other subjects, while working with each individual student, gave me significant insight into seeing what they needed to do to improve.

Over the years  I have collected excellent learning materials and developed teaching approaches which will make their learning much easier and enjoyable.  He/she will have my true caring, patience, and insight into who they are and what they need to improve.

I was the teacher to many hundreds of students including those from GATE programs, those with IEP’s as well as those who can be considered middle-of-the-road students.  No matter their level, if they applied themselves, they improved. I still keep in touch with many of my students who are now adults. (Thank you, Facebook.) It is wonderful to see the careers they are now in and to have them thank me for having been their independent study teacher.
